I have a camo mini maglite that i want to make activated via a pressure switch. i know how to do this i just need the pressure switch. i will mount it on my gun with a mp5 front sight mount. or i could by a taclight (i heard these are more powerful) and mount it via scope rings on ris. my first ques is about the pressure switch and the second is is the taclight worth getting.

Well, I'm not too sur about a MagLite, but you might want to check this out:
Buy, a surefire 6P flashlight (with a high-out-put bulb). That should take care of your light issues. :D
i dont really have any light problems, im just asking whether or not the more powerful flashlights are worth getting. think im gonna go with the mini maglite in the front sight mount and i'll make it have a pressure switch. i think i can get the switch at this store where i live. plus im not going to many night games. if i go to a night game and my maglite doesnt do ill buy a surefire flashlight.

ur maglight wont do. Unless you want to read a map. Get a surefire. Worth it!

Im not sure if you can put a pressure witch on a mag light, but unless you play night games I wouldnât worry about getting a high powered light because there mostly for looks. Im not saying lights arenât necessary thought, I have a G&P light that costs about 95 bucks: lol:
i think its possible all i have to do is take the cover of the batteries off and have wires going to the switch and then to the batterie.

I ordered my pressure switch from Cabela's catalog and I want to say that it was about $15 for the endcap/switch. All it is is the screw-on end cap for your mini maglight with a pig tail/pressure switch that you can mount anywhere you want to within reason. It is a good way to get light on the spot but I would recommend stepping up to a Surefire if you can.
well, before i spend a lot of money on a flashlight im gonna buy other stuff for my gun

If you don't play night CQB, you really don't need a flashlight, let alone a "tactical flashlight" . If you want one anyways or want one for looks, get a Surefire G2 for $30-$34. Same light output and lamp of a Surefire 6P without the metal body...... You can get a pressure switch from AEX for about $25.
