Fireworks

Jun 28, 2008 11:48pm
Now i know our beloved Governator has asked us all not to buy fireworks. However the Army ROTC program at Sac State has a TNT stand to raise money to pay for things like Military Ball, shirts, transportation, etc throughout the year. Our stand is located on the corner of H st and 56th in Sacramento right near the campus. If you are buying fireworks this year please come down and buy from us :). The stand is open 0800-2200 until the 4th.

ok well i do take that back... i did bring it into the stand in the case but as soon as the police said they were on their way i put it back in the car and was standing near it where i could see down all the streets if they were coming back. So it was in the car most of the time. I would have stuck it in my waistband but i'm wearing PT shorts and a white T-shirt. Until the cops showed up I could have had it out in 15 seconds or less and would have been able to see them coming more than 30 seconds away if they were on foot.

That story reminds of what happened at the Galt Lions Club stand last year. Most of the fireworks were stored in a big metal container and some retard decided to break into the side of it.... with a blowtorch. Yeah. So the whole thing went up inside and it was on the news. Luckily no one was hurt.
I don't carry a gun to scare people.

we have the same prices as every other stand but if i remember right they're $5.99, we did have some fireworks we were giving out free that someone bought and then gave to us because he wanted to support the cause but didn't want fireworks so we gave them out to little kids. We do have a raffle going that only has about 25 tickets in it right now for a big pack of fireworks worth over $100
