The old TM M4 had some barrel wobble and weak tabs.

Different brands of hopup offer more more range+ accuracy.

I don't have any experience with the KWA rifles.

longer barrels offer greater accuracy due to the simple fact that they remain in a controlled environment longer than shorter barrels. Once the bb leaves the barrel it's going to be influenced by the environment as much as ones that left a short barrel. Remember we're dealing with a .25 gram or less in weight in a completely spherical object propelled by nothing more than air.

So your saying that the new TM m16a2 dosn't have barrel wobble problems? I think if I am going to spend that uch on a gun I want somthing a little sturdier up front. even if the wobble has been mostly taken care of that front section is really flimsy looking. I beleave I have settled on the Ca m15a4 since it dosn't appear to have any up front faults, I won't feel bad about putting a sling on it like I might have with the TM.

There are things about CA M15's that require more attention if you're particular with things. TM M16's are more tuned than CA M15's. However, thats not to say that one is better than the other. In the end, you'll probably spend money on one or the other whether it be upgrades, or replacement parts. Out of the box however, CA is more solid in terms of build than TM.

CA's wont be temperamental if you get it throughly checked before fielding with it. Actually, anything wont be temperamental if you do just that...granted that you know what you're doing.

well from what I hear the RPM on an 8.4 should be enough, I don't really need a 9.6

you could try getting a TM M4 receiver (someone who just did a metal body install should have it left over) and install that in place of the solid carry handle. thus making an M16A3.

well how big a battery will fit?

any 8.4v that is claimed to be "large" should fit. Its after you add those extra cells (for more voltage) that size becomes a problem.

well I got all my stuff ordered. Just gotta go to the base library and fax that pesky waiver.
