I need to upgrade my AK (I chrono'd in at 280 fps yesterday), and I had a question. Would it be a good idea to drop in this AK bore-up kit...

The fps gain will not be much with such a small spring. Also your barrel length may not be long enough to take advantage of the increased volume of air. Dont waste your money. Try using a type "0" cylinder which is cylinder without a slot. Just put a sp100 and be done. If your gearbox is efficient it will get you around 375 fps and is easy on the battery.

i apalogize for "piigyback" psting. But i resebtly bought a sportline m15a4 and it clocked at 340 fps. whats a cheap upgrade that would pump it toward my 390 fps goal?

spring upgrade is the cheapest. And double checking for compression in the gearbox.

Duely noted both Ukau and chase42. ROF isn't something that I was pursuing that much, but rather a decent FPS without putting the strain of a stronger spring on the internals. But I'll probably take Ukau's advice to heart, and just do a simple cylinder and spring upgrade.
