peltors for airsoft?

i work around loud noises all day and i feel that i can't hear very good when its needed... are peltors worth it?

considering that hearing damage of any form/at any level is permanent. I would say it is a very good investment. As far as for just airsoft? If it could mute the whining it would be but otherwise no it would be for complete looks.

Ive skirmished a couple times with them. I think its nice to have the active hearing and the protection from BBs hitting your ears, as well as they just look cool in my opinion. The only thing that got annoying with them was they would get in the way of my sights and at a place like Wheatland the running water would get picked up a lot and get irritating. lol

I thought the running water would make you fall asleep.

you dont think when trying to hear foot steps and people moving through the bushes it would help someone as def as me?

I think it could help or make it worse depending on the situation. At least thats how it seemed to me. I have a pair of Peltor Tactical 6S so I dont know how much better the Comtacs or the Sordins are.

Some of you may have seen me wearing my Peltor Comtact head-set. I really like the depth they give to the area of operation. Great for CQB. I plan on integrating my commo into them. Allways in my range bag.

so i['m like 50 feet away from a buddy and say a little louder than a whisper "orion, hold you hand up and show me who's number one" just to broke to my cohort how sensative they are

So I bought a set of Howard Leight Impact Sport earmuffs and I have to say I'm pretty happy with them.
