Norca Army Navy
First off, those that have known me for any amount of time (old school Sacair members mainly) know that I am fairly reserved but when something pisses me off I tend to speak my mind to the fullest.
I myself, a long with some of my friends, have had similar issues since the day that store opened.
Now then, tell us how you REALLY feel.

I used to shop there all the time, back when it was that guy with the limp and a cain. He was cool, and then he left and things went downhill. I was in there a week or so ago, looking for a new pair of boots. Their selection in stuff is a joke too. The boots I wanted, the tans, were in sizes 5,6,7,12. That's it. Same with most of the other boots. And trying to get a good set of camos? XS,S,M,XXL. I mean, come on, people, keep the right sized items stalked, please. The only good things they had there were canteens.
But they do tend to have hard to find camo, such as flecktarn. But like you said, they only have random pieces and sizes lol.
Kevin, if you want Flecktarn, just get it from a good internet site, man. They'll have it in the right size and all the pieces too. And come on man, if you're going to go flecktarn, you should have got yourself a G36 instead of a M15A4.
na im stickin with my woodland bdu for now. but today im painting my gun a woodlands color digi. ill prolly have some pics up in a day or so

haha only if i could drive :C. on that same note hey mike you goin to the icehouse game on the 13th :D
Last time I was in there... It smelled of pot, a plesent smell IMO, but unbuissness like none the less. Was there any of that oder wifting around, or was it more likely one of his friends?
I've been there twice... once they didn't have any paracord. How can a surplus store not have paracord? the other time they didn't have what i wanted and those shitstains working there were goofing off and one tried to impress his hoe and ended up splitting his eye open BAD. Blood everywhere and he probably needed about 10 stitches but decided to "Suck it up" and put a bandaid on
actually the BEST surplus store in the bay area is ALameda Army Navy. SOme airsoft crap, some CO2 crap, some decent pellete guns, but a LOT of tac gear, molle gera, AND they've been on myth busters about a dozen times. VERY nice Indian family runs the store, i mean so polite someone made rag-head comments and he still made the sale after saying "sir please do not strike him in my store"
would ANY surplus store carry stencils, for custom paint jobs? or would i have better luck at a hobby store?
Nah, best off using painters tape and your eyeball, my friend.

i made some digi stencils today usin graph paper, a pencil, and a razorblade
I used to be a big supporter of the store, despite their insanely high prices, mainly due to the fact Fortress Hobby was the only other local shop...

I concur with a lot of what has been said about Norca, I've had ok expriences buying stuff from them, they are rather haphazard in the way they run things,I don't think they have a great selection of stuff, but have been lucky on finding a few things I've wanted, like mag pouches and stuff for my Vietnam equipment even if their prices are higher than necessary, I generally avoid going in there theses days.
