yes CO2 is a greenhouse gas and the more the warmer but
Jul 7, 2008 2:00am
Yes, the planet has ways of dealing with excesses. Plants can absorb CO2. The only problem with that is that we're still paving over forests for parking lots and poisoning all of the weeds because an empty patch of dirt is nicer, or something (don't get me started on soil erosion and air quality!).
Gun control is not Crime control.

Like i said... I'm not saying we don't have an effect on it I'm saying theres no data to say we're causing it let alone contributing in a major way. One thing that gets me is the "eco friendly" cars that use more fossil fuels and energy to build them then the cars can use in 10 years. Making a NiCd battery to put in a hybrid uses a rediculous amount of energy in the form of carbon based fuels. I still think that the whole go green thing is just a way to sell products that really don't do anything more than make people feel like they are helping, mostly in the form of cars

Are you saying that the sample used is too small to make conclusions about the green house effect? It might not affect us that much right now (or maybe it does but we just don't know it since averages are what others may view as miniscule over a set amount of time). Maybe in another 1000 years people will feel the effect.

Marines die, that's what we're here for. But the Marine Corps lives forever. And that means YOU live forever.

I never said trash the environment but yes i'm saying the sample is too small. Too small to show the true effect of greenhouse gases and too small to show if there really is significant global warming going on that isn't natural. Maybe we're just warming in a natural way.
