i thought about getting one too and i was browsing reviews on it a while back, what i heard was that it was really underpowered, had poor seals, and a bad trigger assembly but a really detailed, realistic gun cosmetically speaking

Get a m700. Pretty close to the same. And AEX has 'em. About 3 different models i think.

my brother just got his a few days ago in the mail.. very nice piece. all metal and wood. he bought it used and it has some 200$ upgrade kit in it, i havent done a lot of research on it. shoots pretty nice, fixed hop. I believe he uses .28bbs. still a little under powered for a sniper rifle, I think its shooting somewhere around 400fps. the bolt pull is EXTREMELY short, and very easy.

he probably bought the m40XB if he bought a upgrade kit. t he only upgrade kit for the a1 is made by pdi and they are not made anymore. the XB model is great but you cant even buy a replacement cylinder or handle boss or bot(except den) for the a1 model

if you want a sick sniper, get the VSR10 SV and upgrade it, maybe a rifle wrap and a bipod with scope...at least thats what i would do. i heard the real shock version is kinda pointless/gay though

measure the rifle...if its around 1200mm..it's the XB...if it's less than 1100mm..it's the A1...

My opinion, get an Aps2 sniper version. More upgrades available, shoots better and that Zero trigger is silky smoothe. If you're looking for an M40 style stock, you could get the Carrot Military stock. I've got an M40a1 STD with custom Co2 cylinder & PDI cylinder set, but still prefer the Aps2. Like one of Snoopy's :P

measured roughly 1090mm, so yes, it is a standard, im gunna post pics of it soon in the gun gallery

my mistake, the gun is stock. but my brother might buy an upgrade kit from a kid in the UK pretty soon.
