Just the stories I hear...it is for sure a great experience and teaches you how to be an adult QUICK! But its all the I.T. and P.T. that gets to you.

yeah people think they know what they're getting into when they join the marines. they're wrong.
Future Loadout???
No Drill instructors ever touched me or my fellow recuits from my company while I was in boot camp, that claim is horriblally false.

ya my brother is in texas at mma [ military marine academy] and hes comeing home completely different and is goin to the marines next year
so what are we supposed to be looking at? You can't hear anything the DS's are saying which is the best part. That's only hell however if yelling makes you nervous. If you stay calm with a clear mind and think before you open your mouth all the yelling in the world won't do a damn thing.
When I was in school, it was the Marines that had seen combat that gave you the worst time. I cycled through two Staff Sergeants after they beat the **** out of recruits. Everyone got hazed in one way or another. It just depends on how the individual takes it. Two weeks into training, its easy to tell who not to touch, and who is asking for it. In some cases, it was earning respect to get the **** beat out of you. I think in the past 2 years the Academy had lost close to 14 million in lawsuits dealing with hazing.

I believe that touching of recruits was stopped in 04-05 because a recruit died of a stress induced heart attack or some shit like that, I remember the Chief Drill Instructor of my battallion telling the battallion about abuse and if it was know that it was to be reported to the Chief directly or company commander that, he also told us about how the person that had beat the recruit was sent to levenworth.

Ok then.

This is an airsoft forum and like all forums there is a unspoken code of conduct. If everyone posted every thought that ran through their mind we'd have a lot of youtube sex jokes with pictures of big guns and the url would be dailyafirmationswithstuartsmalley.com
Oh and it would help if you spelled correctly, and learned to use the functions of the board, such as the quote button.
Been there done that...next.
