Ok so I finally got everything back together, hooked up the battery and it wont shoot. I checked the connections to the motor and it was connected, then I retook the gun apart, and alot of the red wire had become stripped and on one part it was fraying a little bit. Is the problem with that wire or something else?

I had the same problem with my CA. The charging handle is most likely getting in the way when you try to slide the upper receiver back in. You have to make sure you position that little f***er just right against the top of your upper receiver otherwise it won't slide into the lower properly. Be careful though, if you stretch the charging handle spring to much you'll be stuck with a limp charging handle.
