Get a bandana or towel. Soak it in as cold water as you can get. Wear it around your neck, changing it out for a new cold wrap every 45 minutes or so. And if you can, wear one around your wrists too.

cold shower TURN YOUR COMPUTER OFF!! It works, your computer alog with TV, lights, and other things put out an amazing amount of heat. Esspecailly when its a 100 degrees out.

turn off your computer, tv, xbox, stereo and read a book with low wattage light bulb. Electronic devices increases heat loads dramatically.

Is a nice, breeze 71 where I live, have the window open and the fan turned on.

Depending on the size of the room, i suggest one of the portable A/Cs you can buy at Lowes or Home Depot. I have one that has a container that you pour water into and it puts out a cool breeze. Just roll it to wherever I am in my room (its pretty small) and it keeps me cool.

get a couple of beers, find some local kids, and proceed to hose them down while you get hammered

When that happened two years ago to my family. We tried the portable A.C. machines. They did work but not that well as we wanted them to. So my advice is simple lock up the house and go check into a hotel.
If you give to a charity please think of giving to one of these two charities. The Naval Special Warfare Foundation or Navy SEAL Warrior Fund.

go sit in a fast food joint. My kfc keeps it's lobby at 65 to 70 degrees and it's quite cool.

supermarkets are always cold. Go walk around in there for a few hours. Mainly the savemart in roseville, then steal some booze.
