How does the 552 barrel compare to the M4 barrel. Is the 552 solid in body? How is it for comfort?

I haven't gamed w/ one but held them and they feel good in hand and solid. The only thing I heard is that it takes a little more effort to get to the gearbox then some of the other guns.

It's actually not that bad to get to the gearbox of the SG-552. The SG-550 and SG-551 were a bit more difficult, with the burst feature. But the SG-552 is a lot simpler.

depending on the M4's brand, as in CA, TM, G&G, G&P. barrel length, well the M4 is 363mm in length. the sig552 is 247mm. so yes the barrels have alittle difference in their length. not much tho. stock guns usually shoot at about the same FPS (depending again on the brand/maker.)

If you get an armalite, either go with the new TM m4 s system or another brand.
