I think it has to be short so it doesnt protrude from the slide when it locks back, like on the real steel. But if it is indeed a copy of TM's system, it shouldn't have any problems.

but he's in hong kong, the most direct you can get for most airsoft items. The 60 bucks is most likely what CA charges with its mark up. Then add on distributer and reseller mark up, tariffs, and shipping. Most likely it'll be around 120 when it hits state side

The TM mags are compatible with the CA 1911, also the recoil spring are too.
