Pistol Rules

Jul 19, 2008 11:42pm
Hey as far as i know in a SacAir game there are certain areas where you have to use your pistol. Say your pistol has the ability to go fully auto, can you use fully auto in thoses certain areas?

I like to use the "would you like to get shot by your gun in x situation rule".

Use your best judgment. You're playing a game where everyone is supposed to be having a good time. Would you appreciate someone dumping five or ten rounds out of their Glock 18, or whatever, at ten feet away?

nope don't do it. not sure if it's am in stone rule but i remember at the last nam game the host said not to use full auto at close range. there's no reason to spray and pray at close range, your gun has sights for a reason. sas double tap!

i was talking about a pistol, but wasn't trying to insult your non-spray n' pray abilities.

Anyways good discussion an all, but i'd really just like to know if its against the rules to use fully auto in the areas where you have to use your pistol.

I just want to know if its against the rules. If i get a solid yes or no from someone who knows then i'll just agree and let all this go.

Is there any other time you have to use your pistol? But at a longer range? Not so close to someone. Where maybe fully auto would be alright?

I'll make it simple, since you just want a simple answer and you don't want to have to think:

Wow. Did I take too long writing my answer or what? Andrew always posted twice since I started halfway down the middle of page 1.

You're right. It isn't on the posted rules here. They haven't been updated in quite some time and it is something we are working on.
