yeah, I know they're not allowed at sacair games, but how many of you have a Marushin either for private skirmishing or as a wall piece?

Had a Marushin Bren Ten. Was fun to use, especially to break beer bottles. Would be a decent skirmish gun, good range, good accuracy, and cuts through brush decently.

Why aren't 8mm guns allowed?

I imagine because it'd be a whole new can of worms as far as safety regulations go. Tester bbs for the chrono would be an issue. A pistol may chrono between low to mid 300s with a white bb the player provides. 340 fps with, say, a 0.34g bb has the same muzzle energy as a gun doing 450 fps with a 0.20 6mm. More complication for a bb type that isn't common in the first place.

So are 8mm pistols aloud at sacair games?
