Lil Wayne and the shemagh
Did everyone see Lil Wayne wearing a sheamgh on his live performence of "a milli". It looked tight it was red and white checker board style. Give me some feedback on how that looks while not playing airsoft.

I've worn my generic skull shemagh around town, both in Sac and Grass Valley. People dig it. Its unique, and it looks cool. Of course, most people first call it a scarf, because they have no idea what they're talking about, but can you really expect them to? But otherwise, most people think its cool, I get tons of people asking me where I got mine, and if I can get one for them.

To me keffiyeh symbolize militant Arab solidarity when displayed in a "social" setting.
It's a big hit with the indie sort of groups.

They do have an actually purpose, to help keep sand out and keep th sun off your back of the neck. Then when fashion designers wanted to spread the "Middle Eastern" look and culture wear across the globe, they became an accessories. There are a lot of things we look at then became fashion which came from other cultures and purposes.

One of the positive side effects of every war is the culture exchange. After fighting someone you start to learn more about them (regardless of how some refuse to). I think shemaghs are just one of the pieces of middle-eastern culture that we're going to be seeing in North America in the coming years. On a side note...
Armalites? Psch, Armalites are for good guys.
Ive worn mine around a bit, especially with a softshell in the colder months Actually I think i wear it more outside of airsoft than in.

I wear mine almost every time I go snowboarding. Works great for keeping me warm and the snow out of my face.
