What I meant is that when I saw this 4 years ago it was under a Non-Disclosure Agreement. That means it was not to be spoken about. Now that it was released at the last SHOT show it can be shown.

Looks like it has an emergency release. What does it do that a land CIRAS doesn't do? More comfortable? Affordable?

What is the big difference between this one and the one that has been on their website for over 2 years? The website says only for LE and Military, so I dont think its available to the public consumption, only public view...

their original blast belts went for $600. And if memory serves me correctly their original chassis was $1200. The ventilation padding is about the only feature on there that I like. Other than that Eagle, Esstac and HSGI makes better products at a better price point.

But even if you bought a CIRAS, and then bought the inserts and the plates. Were talking within the same price point (or greater) as the Crye. Superior in coverage, fit, ergonomics, materials and mfg. techniques. I like the 1st Gen Crye Chassis - Kudos to Caleb and Greg - From a fellow Industrial Designer point of view. 8)

The original Gen 1 included the armor. The new design looks like it will accept standard SAPIs. However the cut of the vest looks like thier own design.
