Mask Or Goggles?
I cant decide whether i should get a mask or goggles. I have heard bad stories about people getting shot in the face, which is pushing me towards a mask. But then again i dont like alot of stuff on my face, which is pushing me towards goggles. I cant decide.

When I started playing airsoft, I used a mask. But as time went by, I went from using a mask to my Oakleys.
Yes is uncomfortable and gets it the way but I would rather have protection than a chipped tooth or getting shot in the face.
I've seen people with full face masks where they manipulate it so it works with whatever gun they have. They still have a large portion of their face protected but it isn't as cumbersome.

I use the jt flex mask. Ive used it in one game and It saved me from getting shot in the face 2-3 times, but I also uncontrollably sweat while I wear it. I mean I NEVER normally sweat but when I have it on the sweat just pours down my forehead into the goggle area. I think im gonna go with something lighter for my next game.
I wear those Guarder goggles and a blavaca or just the goggles. The blavaca makes the goggles fog if you put it over your nose. The goggles are better than other ones I've had but they still do fog sometimes even if you aren't wearing something over your nose. I got my brother a paintball mask and can't even use my sights without straining my neck so I would still recommend the goggles they sell at AEX.
new sacair rules say you need full seal over eyes if you're under 18, riiiight?
Full Face Mask if your a Minor (under 18). Full Seal Googles or Sealed Glasses for everyone else.
I was under the impression that [correct me if I'm wrong (admins)] people under the age of 18 must wear full seal goggles but people under the age of 16 must also wear some form of face protection whether it be a blavaca, paintball mask, ski mask, etc.

i usually use mask with a rubber mouth to make it easier to aim the gun. Being shot anywhere on the head hurts like a b*tch.

go buy yourself a JT proflex thermal mask, save you the headache. if you really want to you can take off the lower portion to just have goggles, but otherwise the ear pieces are foam, and the lower portion is highly flexible, so you can still manipulate it up against your gun. plus the thermals "tend" to fog up less, but you can also purchase a mask fan to relive all the fog.
JTFlex8 requires you to make a slit through the goggle strap feed.... thingy, in order to remove the goggles, which is why i said spectra7, not flex
i've found that a mask makes it so you cant look down the sights
mask for maximum safety :P
