new TM m16 misfiring

Aug 2, 2008 11:19pm
so I got my Tm m16a2 out the box today and took it out to the field and fired a couple mags but then it started not feeding properly and it would fire a few then dry fire on me. I fooled around withit for a while and sprayed the inside of my new M.A.G mags with silicon and I was still getting dry fire problems.

maybe I was over filling my mags so they where mis feeding because they where crammed full. just in cast i ordered a high cap and I'll try my echo high caps to see if they work

yea and I shot a good ammount of the A.E bbs through it too with little trouble. I am fairly sure its a feeding /mag issue.

well its deffinatly the M.A.G mags that are cousing the trouble. the gun shoots flawlessly with my echo 1 high caps. the BBs are getting bound up and cocking sideways in the mag jamming it up. I sprayed some heavy duty silicon spray in there so maybe that will help. I have heard here and there that the M.A.G midcaps can have problems

how do bbs get "cocked" sideways?
