GALAXY/MATRIX MP5K PDW

Aug 3, 2008 11:34pm
I just got a new galaxy/matrix mp5k pdw, and i was wondering how to change the stock from a folding stock to a retractable m4 stock. I don't know if this is possible but i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to change out the stock. Thanx.

Theres nothing I know of on the market for a direct, drop in replacement. I do know that Galaxy came out with a MP5K Charger with a M4 Stock and Rail system.

That helps alot. So do you know anyway place to get a custom stock? Does AEX do that?

Negitive. Custom as in the user would have to make a franken-stock of a collection of parts, or something along those lines.

How much do you think that would cost? Cuz I don't want to spend a lot on a stock.

Again, I have no clue. Its -custom- work. as in you make it yourself.

Oh, well i'll look into it. Thanx 4 the help.

I've got a TM M4 stock assembly with all the parts. If you've got a K-style buttplate (meaning without any sort of stock on it), I can probably mod it and get the M4 stock on it. I've got dremels, nuts, glues, and lots of other tools that could get the job done. I don't know when I'll be in town again, but if you bring it by my place I could probably do it within 30-60 minutes, for $25. And if I'm unsuccessfull, and can't get it on, they you pay nothing.
Its really easy to do. Go ahead to hand it to Bobby. If you have seen how to put a crane stock onto a SAW, then you know how to put an M4 stock onto an mp5.
