CA M4 problems

Aug 5, 2008 6:11pm
Ive got a CA M15A4 carbine, that is refusing to sling plastic as it is meant to. It stopped working about 2 1/2 weeks ago, after a game I went to with some friends. It made it through the day, but as soon as I took the mag out and went to clear it, it sounded like the gears locked, and it has refused to shoot ever since. Ive checked the battery, and made sure it was charged, and it was. Can anyone help me out?

is it making any noise when you pull the trigger? also have you tried someone else's battery?

It sounds almost like something is trying to turn in the gearbox, but it cant/wont. Ive tried the battery in someone else's gun, and it worked. Its a large 8.4v

I just plugged the battery into a smart charger, and it said it was fully charged, but when I plugged it into the gun, nothing happened, then I replugged it into the smart charger and it is charging again like I had never charged it in the first place. Could it be a bad battery?
