VFC AEG's have THE Best Externals bar none in the market today. Internals are so-so at best.

I second the not needing to drop hundreds on gear right away. I've been playing seriously for 2 years, and I'm just now deciding what kind of loadout will be comfortable and will suit my playing style.

Actually I would recommend a first line setup aka molle battle belt. This way you can put a couple of mag pouches on it and a dump pouch too. This setup can be had for less than $50 @ AEX. Moreover since we play in such hot area buy a camelbak or equivalent.

Im not trying to be a dick, but I have WORKED on many clones, and they have come very far in their quality. I would even go as far as to say that some of them surpass CA in gearbox efficiency and reliability. sorry, my .02 cents. Better than TM, NO...but CA internals...yeah.

I've found that models with v.3 boxes tend to be "more forgiving" and better built than CA qualities. However, v.2 boxes tend to be very inconsistent. This is due to the inherent design flaws of the v.2 box as opposed to the v.3 boxes. Externally, however the sacrifice in quality leaves a very bad taste in mouths more often than not.

lets face it if you are going to change every dang thing on your gun internal and external you dont need to buy a tm or ca. you can do just fine with a clone gun and save about 100 dollars. but if you arnt gonna do that then there is realy no reason to buy a clone gun. stick with what works. my 2 cents.

CA guns tend to accept CA pistons. The only pistons I've tried are area 1000, and guarder lately. Both do not fit CA guns.

I started with a CA MP5 that I bought off ebay, it came with 2 hicaps.
