Ok guys, I'm looking for some advice. I'm looking into purchasing a used tm mp5 sd5 from a guy off craigslist. Now, he's claimed that he has owned the gun for 5 years, and apart from a little cosmetic damage, he has only fired at maximum, about 6k rounds through it. The gun is completely stock and apparently has no problems with it. I'm wondering if this would be a good deal for $100 (which I am sure it is). I haven't seen the gun yet, but I've held a new one and I like the feel and look. So I'm wondering if anyone has owned one, and could tell me any sort of advice in terms of little nuances, things I should be aware of, etc. before I actually drive out and look at this gun. If I do purchase this gun, would it be advisable to take it by AEX and have it looked at anyway to check the compression, spring, motor, etc, just to make sure everything is as it should be (probably a no brainer but I had to ask)? Any help is greatly appreciated, and thanks ahead of time! 8)

Sounds like a pretty good deal. Is this what you'll be using on Sat?

For me personally as a seller, I allow the buyer to test out the AEG with a full hicap to show that the gun is in working order. Idealy, the guy would be cool with you shooting a mag or too, and seeing how the gun works.
