Wow. I just got a blood test and it came back positive with type 2 diabetes. Does anyone have this? I don't know what to do. :( I googled it and it does not sound good. :?
Sorry, to hear about that. Are you "overweight"? Did you have any symptoms? i know someone who has "sysmptoms" but they dont want to get tested.

I was diagnosed with it about two years ago.

Both my parents have it. Dad just found out about a month and a half ago, which bummed me out cuz i knew my chances were alot higher now. I've read that I have about a 95% chance of developing type 2 myself at some point in my life since both parents have it, and genetics is a pretty big factor. Which means between the 3 of us kids, probably at least 2 if not all 3 of us will get it :(
genetics don't have as much to do with it as you'd think.
