Bike insurance

I am looking at getting my first bike 2005 CBR600 with about 6000 miles on it. and i will be using it for commute, but i can not believe how expensive insurance is...can anyone give me pointer for bike insurance?

If your parents have a good record have the bike insured under their name and have you as a second hand driver. It will be a lot cheaper.

Purchase a bike that you are able to pay for in full and then only obtain coverage for liability and your medical.

If you give to a charity please think of giving to one of these two charities. The Naval Special Warfare Foundation or Navy SEAL Warrior Fund.

Any motorcycle purchased through a dealership with a total purchase price of under $10,000.00 whether financed, purchased outright, new or used does not require "full" coverage by the lender or lien holder, therefore you have the option to carry "liability" or PL/PD
