throwing a team together-need advice
im throwing a team together in hollister and i just wanted to know is a 16 man squad irrational? i wanted:
every body be cool. you be cool.
The larger the "team", the more difficult it is for the leader to control. A team requires team-work and this is where command and control comes in. Its one thing to throw a bunch of dudes together and say "hey, we're a team!" then to actually have some structure, chain of command, etc.
- Your only weapon is your brain, everything else is a tool.
I'm throwing dudes who are ex R.O.T.C. and marching band, not to mention some of us have some Police Cadet and Marine Pistol Training. So we know chain of command, we know how necessary it is and that the chain of command must be respected even though they're only imaginary stripes. We can receive direct consultation from an ex-Marine Corps Pistol Instructor/S.W.A.T. Team Medic. We know how to assemble a team, however, we do not know if 16 is too large of a number. We just want to know if there is going to be any opposition.

what do you mean opposition, you people complaining or other 16 man teams?

16v16 of coarse. and if 100 people showed up I'm sure there would be small groups coming together as teams to go against. if not i hope we can shape ourselves into a decent enough team to take on an OpFor of 100. you know like the Warriors or or the Spartans. I personally am into milsim. and all 10 of my team so far is also.

thanks wraith. were all close friends and most of us brothers. we got some body language down. but yes i will get them mobile. were starting in sept due to lack of funds, broken down gear, and unpredictable Hollister weather.

-insert failed attempt of something funny here-

the more people you have the more difficult it is to move. I suggest you start with a minimum of 6 but maximum of 9.
FOR SALE THREAD
I've attempted to start a team in the past.
Everytime someone puts a RIS on an AK, God kills a kitten.
If a team works out they are great. However teams can be a pain in the back side.
If you give to a charity please think of giving to one of these two charities. The Naval Special Warfare Foundation or Navy SEAL Warrior Fund.
