I was wondering if you guys put real Body Armor in your plate carriers

Depends who you ask. Some of us do, most dont.

I wore a real flak vest once and after being shot 3 times in the back at about 10 feet, Dave finally had to tell me he was behind me and had shot me...

It all depends on what you prefer, I myself use plastic plates in my pc because I don't feel the need for all that extra weight. If you want to put real plates in your pc or wear real body armor and have the funds to do so, then go for it.
