I find it interesting that the 5th Recon is called the Blackcats. Back in WWII my grandfather's squadron was the VP-91 Blackcats (they painted their aircraft black for night operations). His squadron discovered the Japanese fleet at the Battle of Midway, and was credited with sinking the Ake Bono Maru, a tanker, and torpedoing some others.
