TSA...good for what?
I have just discovered that i boarded not one but two planes at two different airports with a 1.5" knife. No details on how this happened will be provided for reasons of national security  or something but what exactly are we paying the TSA for? They found my shaving cream but missed the knife 6 inches from it.
I didn't say how it happened but if i can do it on accident I'm sure i could do it again on purpose with a larger blade. Its unacceptable to me no matter who works there. But spooky wasn't the one screening me ;)

just proficiency on the X-ray machine.
I'm sure someone could go to your job and point out countless things you do wrong...
My job doesn't require repetitive action of me doing the same thing all day. When your job is to find weapons and stop "dangerous" objects from getting on an aircraft, excellence is something to demand not hope for. If your job description is "look at x-ray machine, find knives, find firearms, find bombs" your job is pretty fucking simple except for the rare creative IED. Now if this blade of mine was disguised to look like something else for example that might be understandable.
A kid I know did pretty much the same thing, but with a pocket knife and matches in his back pack.
TSA at LAX wouldn't let me carry a surefire flashlight because it was a "tactical weapon accessory".

COMBAT BEARDS FTW!!! 8)
Ya TSA has its issues, then again so does the CIA. I have had my "issues" with them. Im not afraid to fly and I dont rely on them nor do I truly rely on ANY security agency. They have a tough job dealing with people like me, you and everyone else.
Like others have said, they are only Human.

I mainly think that because he said it after he clicked the "hint" question mark next to the PW entry, and it says "HAHA try to find me out! HAHAHA" when you click there.
-insert failed attempt of something funny here-
They tried to take my work parnters DIABETES needles away because they were empty. They said something about how they could be used as weapons. He flashed his badge at them and said go away and packed them up.
My wife got a heavy duty box cutter (sound familiar?) on a plane by accident.
