Well the movie rocks but the supposed long version was limp. It's like a minute or so in the begining and is not that impressive. The novel was waaaaaaay better then the film. In the novel there are 5 predators and alot for detailed fight scenes between the species. All in all though it is cool. I got the gift pack DVD set from Blockbuster for $30 which includes an Alien and a Predator bust statue.
Whoa! That's out already? I didn't even see it in the theatres because I heard that it sucked. (For the same reason why you thought the book was better.)
I kinda lost interest in the whole thing when I found out it wasn't in the future with the USCM.
