Was thinking about cutting the next mortar round to about 1ft. This would double the length of the "barrel" on the round itself. As it is, the 1.25 inch diameter barrel on the round itself is 6 inches long.

Try a different projectile. Blain's RPG used a ball made from the memory foam material, so you can ball it up and it will expand to any shape. He was getting perfect compression, hence the massive range on his RPG.

Blaino, can you post pics of this projectile please?

How wide is the ID of the piece that holds the projectile to the 'nade?

The PVC pipe that fires the balls is 1.25 inches.

Oh my neighbors are used to us by now. Tinkering in the garage at all hours, building strange things. Sometimes we even ask if they can help us out with fabrication. They don't even ask what we are making anymore lol.

True... I guess we can just mess around with the projectile to get the best accuracy and distance.

Yep...dude, I'm gonna make you a tube and round so you can screw around with the design also. I think I might even have enough material for a 3rd tube.
