what mp5 version do you have (a, sd?) and what front sight do you have it for? if they are the same versions, they should fit together, as far as i know. as for the red dot, if you think you need more dot options, go for the $80 one, but if you just want it to play, go for the cheaper one.

If you are talking about the CA laser mount that affixes to the front sight on your MP5 I just put one on mine. All you really need to do is if you have a vice and bend the tabs outward just a tad and then once you get the proper fitting use a pair of vice grips to close it tight and screw it together again. I wouldn't use a Dremel unless that is your one and only way of doing it. If you don't have the means I would be more than happy to put it on for you.

ok i went to jeppyjay's house and used there vice but i cant pry it apart but i can bend it inward. how should i bend it apart?
