wanted to know if anyone has heard bad things about Army's R85a1, and if so, pm me, airsoftgi has it for $185, and from the videos ive seen, it seems pretty good.
I'd personally go with the G&G L85. I was thinking about getting one also.
good guns, but as for the G&G and the star l85's, if the piston goes, you are pretty screwed. the only place ive seen carry the modified piston heads and other such parts for the l85 series guns are overseas, and SOLD OUT.

Some say-That it's impossible for him to wear socks, and he can open a beer bottle with his testes.
i got a star l85 and the only prob with it is the tightbore is finky with pellets. so i just use elites on it!!

I have a Army L85. The gears on that gun works but on my gun, the sector gears are not balanced so one of the side is slightly curved. You can clearly hear the noise from gears mesh. I don't know where you can get the spacer for the piston and the pistonhead so I am keeping it stock. Not sure if you can replace the piston, cylinder and the cylinderhead. I remember the cylinder is slightly longer if my memory serve me right. Compression wise is nothing impressive even after I changed the o-ring on the pistonhead.
yea, if you want one soooo bad, just be patient and wait for the ics one to come out...
