I need to find out what I can do to have the shortest front end I can have on an M4 type AEG. I'd like it to look like the AEX Max Muskrat (shown below) but without the sight. I'm looking for that length, not necessarily that floating hand grip.

i made one a while ago, just do a custom job, mine was just the gas block, and the flashhider

look for a patriot kit. those are basically the muskrat floating handgaurd and a flashider

when you guys get a chance.

OK, found a Patriot Kit, looks sorta long still? Kinda hard to picture when not on a gun, hehe.

Just remove the entire front outer barrel and cut the inner barrel down to once inch. You'll have the shortest Colt/Armalite of all. Oh yeah, and remove the stock assembly completely and tape the battery to the receiver with duct tape.

PS: there's a guy on airsoftplayers selling one for like 300. comes with mags, batt, and an m130 ftk installed. maybe its still up there

yea it looks pretty nice, i jsut built it for cqb and forests so i could be as low profile as posible, but ya from the reciever i just went to teh delta ring and then the gas block, it had pretty good range to for a 4 inch barrel
