AEG Problems HELP!
Hey, I have a CA M15A4 and I just went out to a game today and it was not performing as I though it would...

How familiar are you with disassembling and re-assembling gearboxes?

How is your compression? Do you know how to check? You are losing close to 100fps. I'm thinking the hop up or the way it is sitting is the major contributor here.

I don't know how to check compression. I'm pretty sure the hop up is on correctly. Should the little end of the bucking (the part that's smaller than the rest of the piece) be totally on or slightly off the barrel?

How much would it cost for repair?

Depends what is actually wrong with it.

Ok, but the problem is definitely internal. What if it's already open before I get there just to save you guys some time?

Hi guys,

That's CA for ya, I know of two Classic Army AEG's I have seen recently with the same problem. Must be a Quality control thing with Classic Army. Sorry

Could it be that the spring you bought was not the right one like a lower power spring was accidently put in the box insteaed of the higher one. Its happened to someone i know before.

Take out your inner barrel and look through it. Is it clean? Lightly lube it if you haven't already done so.
Would getting a new body kit and barrel solve the problem maybe?
