ok so i have been trying to open the gear box and i looked online to see what i need and it said i needed a T10 torx driver. so i go out and buy one and just my luck IT DOESNT WORK. so now i have no idea and a rattling in the gearbox. any suggestions?

define doesn't work?? A torx driver should be a screwdriver sort of an item with a torque head on it...how did you manage to create a rattle?

Sorry it is like the one above this picture and the torx driver wont fit in the socket. as for the rattle i have no idea. and i checked and any screwdriver i have will not fit and i have a 100 piece drill bit set so yeah. aslso an allen wrench wont fit

take a picture of the socket... and if it is a torx then buy a set and try them all.
you know they have different sizes of Torx. Try a T9 or T8.
