I had a couple problems with my Tm m16a2 this week that i have questions about.
current gun Echo 1 614 (430fps), TM m16a2 (365 fps), TM high-capa 5.1 ( 330 fps )
TM m16 trouble and looking for barrel advice

what does that have to do with his problem? Regardless of what he chrono'd with at AEX his FPS dropped significantly. He obviously has a leak somewhere.

I chonoed it at AEX with .2's but my point was that a 70 psi loss is too much for the differance between .2's and .25's

you should also realize that following things will factor into different FPS readings. And some more than others...

I do belive that my fps loss was probebly due to over shimming. I had shimmed it so that none of the barrel protruded into the feed tube at all. After looking at my echo 1 I see that it must be ok to have a little overlap but not too much. I will have to get it just right.
