SEAL Motivators

For all of you guys that are looking to join NAVSPECWAR I have a pretty good offer here. My buddy is coming up from down south the weekend of the 27th and 28th. He's going to put me through some training (all physical, no weapons or tactics). For those of you who feel up to the challenge, PM me or email me and we may be able to get some squad or platoon level training going for the day. Requirements are: at least 16 years of age, must have BDU trou, a white shirt with participants last name written clearly (stencil), boots (something you can get wet) and water, preferably camelbacks. Location and times will be given via contacting me. Note: This is not an airsoft event. Do not bring airsoft rifles or weapons. It is reccomended (pretty much neccessary) that individuals who wish to partcipate are in good physical condition. Training is going to provide the very slightest insight into what a day at BUD/S is like. Could open up for the possibility of SWOSAC (Special Warfare Operations Sacramento Area Canidates) which I have been asking for for awhile now.

I know everyone here wants to ask the question but hasn't so I'll just answer it now. No, my buddy is not David Goggins (GODGINS). I wish it was. He's probably running somewhere, or on deployment.

Actually that question didn't come into my head... in fact i don't even know who he is.

SEAL Operator Goggins (rumored to be part of DEVGRU) is also a crazy ultraathlete. He ran 2200 miles in 2 years. Took 3rd at Badwater. A 135 mile race through Death Valley.

Sounds like a nut... why would we think he might be your friend? And why the requirement to stencil names on a white T?

You probably wouldn't. That was a poor attempt at a joke on my part. As for the shirt. Well, for one it makes it a lot easier for instructors to play mind games with you (when they know or can see your last name). Another is associating names and faces. For instance, well Leddy is really good at running, but his pullups and situps are terrible.

Got some guys interested. This PT session is obviously geared more for those looking to become SEALs, SWCC or EOD so as to give them an idea of what it takes. For those who are interested, I want to make it clear that it's not neccissarily going to be fun. Its going to be pretty tough. Running 3+ miles, hundreds of pushups, thousands of flutter kicks, burpees, bear crawls, low crawls, sprints, the works. Just trying to give a heads up.
