trouble wiring for crane stock

Sep 15, 2008 2:12am
So I'm tired of my echo 1 416 having that stupid battery box on in and i want to route the wires to the back for a battery bag or crane stock but the body is so tight that I can't find a way to route the wires while still clearing the selector switch and the rear retaining pin tab.

M4 variants, when wired to the rear, ALWAYS have the wires coming out the back of the gearbox.

I am aware of that.

You have to open the gearbox and re-route the wiring to the back. There should be a small channel big enough for the wiring to fit into along the inside of the lower perimeter of the gearbox. You may have to detatch and re-solder the positive connection on the trigger assembly because there is probably not enough room to make the u-turn to the back. It's a fairly straight foreward process.
I have always acted in self defense, occasionally pre-emptive self defense.

I've gotten to the step of opening up my mechbox but the T10 drivers I have are only good for removing 3 of the torx screws. the rounded screws seem to be slightly smaller.
