Camp Roberts Battle of the Bulge Reenactment. I had the pleasure to be the 1919 gunner, and on sunday I got to be a BAR gunner. God damn B.A.Rs are *no no word* heavy! But they are nothing compared to a 1919a6.

The grey looks stupid, I am going to a hardware store right after I finish posting this for some new paint. I got the internals all figured out and should have it working by this weekend. The pistol grip is broken but I always liked the spade grip better anyway.

man i would love to get some of the old ss gear... but i hear its extremely expensive :(

Since the pistol grip is broken anyway, I might convert the pistol grip part to have stock and be an A6, and then build a bipod and flashhider to stick on there for fun. The thing is kinda flimsy and SUPER light though, I'm not sure I'd want to run around and risk landing on it. I am going to fiberglass the inside and add some wieght to make it stronger and feel better. All in all, it's pretty cool.
