The rubber grenades rock. I am ordering a dummy one to start making molds out of. I desided I like the idea of making my own if I can. That way if I lose them.. oh well.

I think the best way to get people interested is to just keep showing up in all the gear. Slowly more and more people will get interested.

Yeah, I looked at those. They are purdy but too much $$$ to risk throwing them into a shurb and never find them again. Plus, I really want to be able to mass produce them so that anyone who wants one can have one. Plus, it's fun to make stuff.

Finally got your myspace page to work, the re-enactment pics look awesome dude! I noticed not very many guys had jackboots. Was that because the 12th was create so late in the war or was there another reason?

hey everyone, i know i havent been here in a while but there is a shop in MS if anybody is ever in the south that has alot of WWII uniroms and gear assecories. just thought i would throw that in there.
Nov 13, 2008 2:17pm
Bizcuits, I noticed that too, and it was odd though I think Jackboots were an early war kinda thing, but I actually was wearing jackboots the 1st day, I just had my pants over the tube part of them and there were alot of guys doing that as well so it may have looked like they were wearing lowboots, but they were actually wearing jackboots with the pants not tucked into them
Nov 13, 2008 2:36pm
You will see both in use throughout the war, but you will see a much higher instance of low boots being used past 42'. The use of jack boots tapers off till you get to Berlin where you see tons of everything.

Considering they have a M14 using M4 magazines for the Mini14 and they have the manual for shorting the M14 magazines for the M1 garand, I'm wondering if they will try magazine conversions too for the Carbine? :)
