WW2 GEAR WHORE UNITE!
The M1 kit came in today. It was very well packaged and arrived without any damage. I'm impressed with the kit so far....the wood is high quality, the metal parts are cast aluminum which is not the best but they seem strong enough and fit well so whatever. I'll post more up once I have it installed.

Man, that looks really good. If you don't like the metel enough I'm willing to bet you could use a real gas tube and such. It looks REALLY good to me, you'll have to bring it to the next game I'd like to see that sucker in person. I guess I'll have to buy one!! Or a few....

Hell if you wanted to save the money on the boots, you could grab a pair of Leggings for about $30-40 bucks and just wear brown boots under them.

I finally got the m14 gearbox all fixed up today and the sights and barrel band and last little parts to finish the m1 carbine should be here tomarrow. And I got the barrel cut down and cleaned up and I should be able to have an m1 carbine for the next game!

Not trying to bust your chopps or anything. But you might want ot take off the bayonet lug. The lugs are late late war and post war M2s. Wartime ones didn't have them.
nicely done, have you considered working to get the mags right? check your pm's
It's alright, I still have a few little things I want to do. It's not perfect at all, but it's something different. I would have been a LOT easier with a SOCOM. I need a new inner barrel, I ruined it. I need to paint the barrel. I need to get the rear sights on and make them work. I need to glue it all together and repaint the stock and handguard.
