fix compression problems?

Sep 18, 2008 2:15am
Hey guys. I just got a brand new Guarder SP110 spring installed by AEX, a new shim job, and a couple other parts put in my CA M15A4 and it is only shooting at 350fps. It SHOULD be at around 400fps. I am pretty angry because I spent $44 at AEX for a new shim job and a new nozzle, which I could have easily done myself... They said they couldn't fix the low FPS problem.

Easy stuff first..without having to go into the box.
Look its a bird its a plane, no its just my broken aeg flying all over the place.

Well, I don't think it's that simple. If it was, AEX probably would have caught it.

I am sorry that you are unhappy with the results. It is very understandable considering how far you drove multiple times and how much you spent.

Some CA guns simply do not respond to upgrades. Andrew has had plenty like this. I've worked on a handful like this. I can toss in the biggest spring that will fit, but it will still chrono low.

you guys had mentioned earlier that the hop up distance from the gear box effects the performance. i lost the spring that goes in front of the hopup is there anywhere that i could get the spring???

If you say something in store..none of us would be typing because Andrew probably would have worked out a deal on the spot to make the cost equal the performance.
