Does your gun have a threaded barrel?
If it does, then it will almost certainly work, although I think ex-soviet weapons have reverse-threading.
Armalites? Psch, Armalites are for good guys.

Foam in silencers are illegal in california, because its classified as a "silencer" and under our law, we are not allowed to have any.

Suppressors for airsoft guns are legal. With or without foam. The law pertains to firearm suppressors, which are categorized as devices that propel a projectile by means of an explosion or other combustion. Since airsoft guns do not use combustion as the source of energy, they are not firearms. Therefore a suppressor designed for an airsoft gun is not governed by the law that pertains to real suppressors.
In close range combat, an unsuspecting melon will get the back of its melon blown off.

Does anyone know of any US retailer that sells Foam filled silencers on their websites? I'm just curious.
Ninja meant the physical AEX store in Sac. Online is very different than in store
I don't carry a gun to scare people.
Foam filled barrel additions do nothing to really quiet the sound of an aeg firing, in my experiance.
any external addition or modification that reduces the sound produced by a firearm or mock firearm by more than 1dCb is considered a suppressive device and there-in prohibited by federal law.
Me thinks they should have been more worried about the kid bringing a replica firearm to school than the faux suppressor.
On a RS firearm a airsoft foam suppressor works for 1 shot, then the foam melts. The effectiveness for that 1 shot is the reason the ATF and other agencies deemed this item Illegal. You don't believe me.....test it (in a safe environment). Don't be surprised if the ATF puts a lock down on all suppressors Real or Not in CA. Thank you liberals and Democrats!

I do believe I said if you don't believe me TEST IT OUT, how can you question my logic, if you have not taken the time to do some research.
