take the news for what it's worth. Escort had pretty much folded and was trying to refund people who've waited over a year for their GBB systems the last I heard. Their ill-fated "drop-in" gas mechbox was as much vaporware as anything. Perhaps this is their way of trying to make a comeback in a different way.
