I have seen and heard great things about the VFC, but, as with most CA products their's is said to be a pretty solid gun as well. I really don't like the battery design, but that is preference

I believe your lack of an answer is an answer all of its own. While VFC did show tests of them doing that. I doubt anyone has the mindset to put $500 to the test.

ANY aeg can be used after being submerged in water so long that electronic conponents are not shorted out. in short the answer is YES the vfc can be operational after being dunked under water, not a good idea, but if you want to try go ahead

They ploped a TM in a fishtank in the Airsoft Giide DVD, and shot it under water, and again out of water immediately after....but like mentioned why!
Look its a bird its a plane, no its just my broken aeg flying all over the place.

That would be a fun thing to do during a game. But the nice thing is at least you don't have to worry about it raining during a game. That's one thing I was always wondering...do the guns have problems if they get wet.
Sep 22, 2008 5:53am
yea i know that would be so cool that is one of the main reasons why i brought this up go full navy seal lol

AEGs have very simply circuitry*. A bit of water like that will not damage an AEG. Also, notice that he shook off most of the water prior to firing the weapon.
Sep 22, 2008 6:02am
true but shaking it off does not get all the water off it and plus u would think that getting the battery wet or the motor wet would do something to it. I am just amazed that it fired

I've seen people shoot with their gun half under water at Nam. Just make sure your cylinder and barrel are somewhat above water.
