I generally don't insult them, so much as tell them my opinion of them (I don't sugar coat jack, I make it as blunt as possible). Destroying people's self-esteem is bad, yet fun.

the only time i ever "name call" is when i suspect cheating, when i know their cheating i usually throw in some profanity along with "whore or bitch" so it would go along the lines of "you F***ing cheating whore/bitch! im not very creative i know, but thats whats heard on the field at any rate

I think that calling people names when playing airsoft is wrong. I have never called anyone a name, or even raised my voice during an aairsoft game.
