I just got my 614 from gamepod, it shoots 420 out of the box, this site has a 400 fps limit.

its the G&P Field Ready from gamepod.

Springs don't weaken much by remaining compressed. That just causes the spring to set, which really won't drop your velocity. The only way that a spring loses tension is through repetitive cycles. (Compression and decompression.)

A new spring is not entirely necessary. All yoou need to do is cut one coil off of the spring and vuala! fps has dropped about 20 fps. now if you dont know how to get to or open the gearbox i suggest Mechbox.com

I have that same gun from gp, once I adjusted the hopup for a strait trajectory it was perfect, mine chrono'd at 415 with the hopup all the way off, 400 on the nose with it adjusted.
