I bought a utg m14 and i'm curious as to what upgrades I should check out/ invest in. Thanks for the help.

You should have taken that extra money you have and put it towards a better quality gun that wasn't a ripoff of another manufacturers hard work.

well this is my first gun. and i'm not ready to drop a few hundred dollars yet. i figure i can upgrade this gun if i want and have a decent gun that i can compete with. and i don't know what i can/should upgrade for this gun.

Airsplat says it shoots 300fps with a .20. I would leave the gun alone.

no. i really want to as soon as i get my gun though. what would you say i should buy gear wise. such as holster, vest bdus. etc. what should i buy before i go out?

I would hold off on buying a bunch of gear untill you get an idea of what you want to do. Play a few games and get some ideas. Maybe even research a little and find what's best for your style of play and personal likes and dislikes.

haha thanks. btw are there any noob games open to anyone? all these other pics i keep seeing makes eveyone look like a professional. i can't compete with all these veterans.

you should have never gotten the utg m14 model u shoulda gotten another brand...ex ca tm gg...

Just come out and play and have fun. It doesn't really matter if you are in jeans and a t-shirt of have a ton of gear. It doesn't matter your skill level it's all for fun.

...and what if he finds he doesn't like playing airsoft. He'd be out 2-300 dollars. For now there isn't anything wrong with his clone. He can buy a TM later down the road if he desides he likes this.

I'm sure that all of this has been answered already but what do new springs and a tight bore barrel do to the proformance? Thanks for all the advice guys I really appreciate it.

Suppressors hardly ever really make a difference as most of the noise is from the gearbox.
