AR15 Problem

Oct 14, 2008 10:18pm
Anyone whose ever owned or worked on an AR15 series AEG should be familiar with the two screw's that hold the grip/motor housing secure to the lower receive. My question is how in the name of god do you remove one of those screws if the head is completely stripped out. I'm open to any suggestions.

COMPLETELY stripped out? Or just using a bit that is too small?

You could give a screw extractor on an extension a shot. Craftsman sets go for less than $20 and wouldn't be bad to have around anyhow.

EZ Out can work but I recommend doing everything in a vice. Work very slowly with very even downward pressure.
